Also during morning entry please remind your child to keep their boots on the mat. Hopefully this way we can keep our cubbies area clean and slip free. November This month we will be learning about Nursery Rhymes! Our focus will be rhyming words and learning about characters. Please keep up the reading practice each night and review the letter sounds covered so far (S,A,T,P,I,N,C,K). The starfall website is also a great place to visit to learn the alphabet sounds. www.starfall.com *Our read-at-home program has begun. These levelled borrow-a-books will come home each week with your child. JK books can be returned at the start of the week for new kits to practise each night! SK books can be exchanged daily. Parents please remember that your role is to be a reading coach or cheerleader! Encourage and Praise, Praise, Praise their efforts! October Happy Halloween! Thanks to the parents who were asked to bring in our allergy-friendly treats to eat at our Halloween Feast on Monday. Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you all had a wonderful sunny weekend with your families and friends. It was so nice out our class decided to go for a leaf hunt before the rain came. We found green, red, orange, yellow, and brown leaves all around our school! Thank you to those who have started bringing in the decorated Halloween people for our sharing time. We love to applaud our friends after they show us their creations! September Thank you to those of you who came out for Curriculum Night last week.
